Ammo tax bill an attack on gun rights

I cannot believe it when I heard about House Bill 5040 in the Connecticut legislature to impose a confiscatory tax on ammunition (unless you work for the state). I recall a similar case was thrown out, many years ago, when newspapers were printed on paper with liquid ink. Some politicians didn’t like what a particular paper was saying so they wanted to pass a big tax on the ink. The courts found this was an attempt to defeat constitutionally protect freedom of the press.

Don’t make the same mistake about a different freedom guaranteed in the Constitution. Remember, we do have term limits. They are called elections.
