Love Day photos, Collins not so much

Two great Letters to the Editor in the July 31 edition: “Used to enjoy Collins’ columns, but no longer,” (July 31) from Deborah Wallis. She is so right about Collins' griping and whining. I would add that he is also overly negative.

The other letter, "A wonderful photo!" (July 31) from Peter Guerra is also right on in praising Sean D. Elliot. The photographers for The Day are great! These professionals always capture the essence of life here in southeastern Connecticut.

Hope you can find a more professional columnist in the future.
