Let parents pick the best school for their child

Regarding school choice and residency, “Unfair to go outside the rules to obtain school choice,” (Sept. 14), the solution to out-of-district students, charter schools and similar school choice issues is simple: education dollars (federal, state, and local) should follow the student, not the school. Let the parents choose what is best for their children, not the politicians.
