A Groton city gift to the Democrats

Regarding the article, “Groton City Republicans will not run in May election, citing concerns over hostility towards Republicans,” (Jan. 22), on Republicans choosing to withdraw from the May elections in the City of Groton; that is exactly what the Democrats want, uncontested power! Unwise move. That willingness to step aside is what got us into this mess of leftist dominance in the first place!
