Aundré stands alone as most qualified for Groton city mayor

I am writing to wholeheartedly endorse Aundré Bumgardner to be the Democratic candidate for Groton City mayor. For me personally, the single most important trait about Aundré is that he listens. In his work at the Town Council he is measured, deliberate and inclusive. As a native of the city, he is uniquely positioned to best understand the needs of the entire area. In fact, my census data suggests that with the city median age being around 35, Aundré is best and most closely suited to understand the needs of the majority of the citizens. I find his outlook to be quite receptive to change and new ideas, which will be so important in order for the city to adapt to the future.

Additionally, Aundré's heritage is one of being a person of color and diversity. With about 40% of the city population being in that category, Aundré is once again uniquely qualified to understand and represent the needs and viewpoints of everyone. And of course, it goes without saying, that as the only mayoral candidate with experience working inside of Connecticut state government as a representative to the 41st District, this makes him stand alone in being most qualified.
