MLB makes the right call in Georgia
Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred did right in relocating this season's All-Star Game from Atlanta in protest of Georgia's new, Trump-inspired, racist, restrictive voting law. A law which, among other things, makes it illegal for a neighbor or volunteer to offer a citizen, especially an elderly citizen, of any race, waiting in a long, sun-baked voting line a mere bottle of water!
Baseball, as with other sports and corporations that do business in Georgia, shares a responsibility to speak out and defend against any entity, political and otherwise, denying constitutionally guaranteed, unencumbered voting rights.
Good for Baseball. Shame, shame on Georgia.
