Thinking about using solar panels? How about an electric bill of $7.75 that was due only to delivery charges? Yes, our bill to Eversource is $7.75 this month. All through winter it has been no more than $40. The company we dealt with was easy to work with. We did not buy the solar panels. If you own the solar panels and something goes wrong, the money comes out of your pocket. Leasing the solar panels and something goes wrong, the repairs are on them. The lease comes with a monthly fee. Our all-electric house was costing us way over $400 a month. Even with the lease fee, we are paying $100 to $200 less a month.
