Please vote Bumgardner in Groton City, a 'phenomenal listener'
I write in support of my friend, Aundré Bumgardner, who is running for mayor of Groton City. Aundré and I worked together through the transition of the Connecticut Treasury from one administration to another in 2019. Aundré was not only instrumental in policy design and implementation, but he was always focused on making complicated financial issues relevant and understandable for everyone. He is smart, engaging, hardworking and humble. I admire his tenacity and I respect him very much.
Aundré has been out working hard and knocking on doors all spring. He is a phenomenal listener. He brings people together and offers real solutions. I look at this race as an exciting opportunity for Groton to hold up and celebrate a young, smart, capable, empathetic person of color. Doing so should be considered an honor for all of us.
Please vote Aundré on May 3.
