Our state is going to pot under Dems
In an unwritten note to the public, our Connecticut state legislators have announced to us they are not capable of balancing a budget anymore and have decided to, "legalize recreational marijuana," (June 17). Thank you to state Senators Heather Somers and Tony Hwang for voting "no" against this dastardly bill.
After a career in the military interdicting druggies, I find now that it was all for naught, and now we citizens need to be even more vigilant with our children and drug users on the highways. What is next in the quest for more money by our irresponsible legislators, legalizing "recreational sex"?
