In the Sept. 12 Perspective section of  The Day newspaper there was a guest commentary by Dr. David B. Bingham in which he admits his support for the destruction of unborn babies by volunteering as a director for Norwich Planned Parenthood, "Texas turns to Taliban model with its vigilante abortion ban," (Sept. 10). As a medical doctor, doesn't taking the Hippocratic Oath preclude him from the destruction of human life?

There is also some mention of a "woman's privacy" but doesn't that privacy include two people, the mother and the unborn baby? During the normal pregnancy period. Wouldn't that dual privacy start at the beginning of the normal nine-month period of gestation?
