A slap in the face for frontline workers

The Oct. 18 cartoon, showing frontline workers going from heroes to unemployed, shows just what the governor thinks about them. For almost two years they have been in the frontline of battling COVID and taking care of loved ones. Now the state says if you do not get vaccinated, you are fired. Talk about a kick in the rear and a slap in the face! This is the same governor who was willing to bring in the National Guard to man hospital and nursing home beds. Threats and firings just make matters worse. Let’s work together to find solutions that work, not anger.
