Plenty of hate speech from the liberal faction

Recent letters blame conservatives for the Arizona shootings. It wouldn't be so bad if there was a grain of truth in them, but it seems facts won't get in the way of a good conservative bashing.

One letter stated that Sarah Palin "did not express regret about putting a number of candidates in the crosshairs during the recent campaign ..." Ms. Palin put crosshairs over congressional districts as targets, not over candidates.

Another letter stated, "The shooting of U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords provides a teachable moment, but it can't happen if the Sarah Palin's 'reload-don't-retreat' and Joyce Kaufmann's 'bullets-not-ballots' crowds play dumb and refuse to accept a role ..."

How about a teachable moment for these comments:

    • "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun." Barack Obama.

    • "Put him against the wall and shoot him." Rep. Paul Kanjorski, Democrat from Pennsylvania, about Florida Gov. Rick Scott.

    • "Town-hall protesters are

    un-American" Nancy Pelosi.

    • "I hate Republicans and everything they stand for." Howard Dean.

According to Democrats, they should bring guns and put us against a wall and shoot us because we are un-American and they hate us.

But according to liberals, it's conservatives who use hate speech.
