Eversource provides no tree help, risks power failure

I have a large tree in my front yard. In the summer of 2017, Eversource had a crew of “experts” come and butcher the tree – no shaping and just a lot of cutting. Now I have a large broken branch high up and a second large branch that appears to be rotted.

Eversource says they will not take care of the problem even though the broken branch hangs over the power lines. They will only respond if the branch is touching the power lines.
