    Changes needed in Congress

Watched our junior senator on Fox News Sunday recently hoping to hear his ideas, plans, and insight. Disappointing at best. Where are all the fact checkers? He mischaracterized many issues. On the southern border, inflation, SCOTUS leak, abortion, Florida K-3 sex education law, MAGA and student loan forgiveness, there were no answers. Senator Murphy went right into the canned talking point praise for the Democrats and the canned vitriol and hit list about the Republicans and his perceived worry some hateful, divisive, evil, mean spirited turn the Republican party has taken in recent years.

He stated he still had student debt. Granted, he said his loan does not need to be forgiven. This from a man who had a net worth of negative $0.7 million in 2018 and $1.5 million in 2021. Nice-three year turn around. Far too many politicians, if not most of both parties, are not doing the job. They feed from the trough, traffic in graft, passing meaningless feel-good unenforceable laws while ignoring enacted laws while the sovereignty, resources, wealth, and future of the country are compromised, and squandered. It is time for Blumenthal, one of Congress’ richest, and Murphy, fast catching up, to go.
