Respler didn’t get a life sentence

As we say in the trade, it must be a slow day in the newsroom. David Collins has repeated his harangue about the Mystic Oral School three times in less than a week. It is my understanding that Jeffrey Respler was convicted of bribery, a misdemeanor in New York. Yet Collins mentions eight times that Respler was prosecuted in the same Court as mob bosses in an attempt to connect him with hardened criminals. If a murderer was wounded in their apprehension and treated in the OR at L&M and the next day I was treated in the same OR, does that make me a murderer? The voters of Bridgeport, after Mayor Ganim served time as a felon, forgave him, and re-elected him. I do not agree with Respler's life sentence.

As for the dollar sale, anyone in business knows that if there is extensive environmental remediation or demolition needed, that it is taken into account when agreeing on a purchase price. Respler has already spent money purchasing property to improve the access.
