Reader misses some of the classic comics
Recently the Dilbert comic strip was removed from this paper’s comic section due to its offensive content. I applaud such action and welcome a substitute strip in the blank space reserved for it. However, I feel that before it is done, a reader’s poll should be taken and the most desired strip be printed. As of now, I am not aware if that was already done or not. Personally, I would like to see a comeback of the ones I miss such as B.C, Far Side, Andy Capp, Calvin and Hobbes, Wizard of ID, or some other worthy comic. Frankly, I would like to see an annual poll from the readers to weed out the unwanted strips, like Breaking Cat News.
This is strictly my opinion, of course.

Editor’s Note: “Dilbert” has been replaced by “Baldo.” A readership poll is something The Day is considering.
