Towns die from too many people and traffic
Blocking the development of projects the size of the 454-unit Niantic Village housing project is essential to maintaining the character of our town. (“Will sewer capacity limit shut down development in East Lyme?,” March 3)
The developer's attorney commented that blocking such projects is "... how towns die." He is 100% wrong. Towns like ours die from smothering population density and traffic jams.
I cannot imagine any resident being in favor of this fiasco. Thumbs down on this one!
