    Questions remain about CMEEC

The judge has ordered the felons to prepare for federal prison. Not pleasant, but a bit less severe than the state’s prison. Judge Meyers can now order indemnification - a pay back. Questions remain: do they have the funds? Have they transferred their assets ? Almost a million was blown away on horse races, and golf courses. (They could have bet at the casino and played golf at the public course in Norwich). As the Judge commented in sentencing.

Why were directors who went on excursions not prosecuted or made to pay back their share of benefits to them and guests? Evidently, the legal fees advanced cannot be considered by the court in sentencing - a small sum about 10 million! Did CMEEC take steps to lien assets of felons and ask the court to eliminate transfers if they are convicted and must pay fees back? (I do not think so). We hear about a lawsuit against insurance for recouping fees advanced. What fees are being paid for those efforts?
