Time for St. Patrick Church in Mystic to repent

How can Mystic's St. Patrick's Church plan to spend $8 million on a social hall now? The The Diosece of Norwich that St. Patrick's Church is a part of has filed for bankruptcy reorganization. St. Patrick's Church has not updated their website or developed a plan to reduce their $8 million social hall costs. Bankruptcy protection on one hand, and a plan to frivolously spend $8 million which the church does not have, on the other. Who makes these decisions? It sounds like its time to "fold." The costs will only increase, the church does not have the funds and it would look ridiculous if an overspending plan moved forward.

St. Patrick's Church started this plan seven years ago in 2017. It’s time to stop wasting everyone's time, admit you made a grave miscalculation and you do not plan to move forward.
