I'm writing to express my support for Congressman Joe Courtney. Joe has been the voice of moderation in an era of Washington gridlock. I have known Joe since his days in the Connecticut legislature where he was one of the hardest-working state representatives and was considered to be one of the most knowledgeable, effective and hardest-working legislators. He has continued this same work ethic in Congress.

Joe has fought for the middle class, worked effectively to protect submarine production, stood up for seniors to protect Medicare and Social Security, lower drug prices and has worked hard to improve health and support services for veterans. He always works to do what is right for our people, our state and our country. More important, I consider him to be one of the most honest politicians I have ever met. I am proud to have him as my representative in Congress.
