Questioning the state of politics

The Day editorial page has endorsed Kamala Harris for president three weeks before election. That figures. The Day is a liberal newspaper whose editorial page has gone further to the left after Paul Choiniere retired.

If President Biden had not given up his candidacy, The Day would have endorsed him. And now, what a sad commentary on the state of politics when a candidate for president of the United States who never won one delegate in the 2020 primaries and not even one primary in 2024 or had one press conference besides backing off her original core beliefs and borrowing some from former President Trump is propped up by the news media. Is this the best qualified person to govern this country? I think not.
