Well-rounded decisions shape McCarty’s award-winning term
I have known Kathleen McCarty for many years and fully support returning her to Hartford to represent the 38th state House District for another term. Kathleen brings to the table her political experience having served our district for 10 years.
During that time, she has worked collegially with political parties and is a well-respected legislator. She has a 100% voting record and has received numerous awards over the course of her political career, which include the Legislative Children’s Champion, Legislator of the Year from the Connecticut State Police and Legislative Champion for the protection of seniors.
Equally important are the well-rounded life experiences that help shape her decisions. These experiences include her being a former small business owner, a former educator, a licensed pilot, a former chair/member of the Waterford Board of Education, a parent and a grandparent. All of these require thoughtful preparation, mature judgment and doing the right thing. Join me in voting for Kathleen McCarty on Nov. 5.
