‘Those People’ screening at New London library Thursday

The Public Library of New London is hosting a free screening of The Day’s documentary “Those People” on Thursday at 5 p.m.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director/producer Peter Huoppi and producer Curtis Goodwin. “Those People” tells the story of the lives impacted by the New London Talent Show, an annual performance established to give young people an artistic platform in the wake of the 2010 murder of New London resident Matthew Chew.
The film premiered at the Garde Arts Center in 2021, and won Best Documentary Feature at the Mystic Film Festival that year.
