26th annual historically black college bus tour accepting applications
The Historically Black College Alumni of New London is now accepting applications for the 26th annual historically black college tour.
The tour will include visits to Howard University in Washington, D.C.; Morgan State University in Baltimore, Md.; Bowie State University in Bowie, Md.; Delaware State University in Dover, Del.; University of Delaware in Newark, Del., and University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
A bus will depart from New London High School on Monday, April 16, and return to NLHS on Saturday, April 21, 2018. The cost of the trip is $295, which includes hotel accommodations and motor coach transportation.
Students must submit an application, grade transcript and two letters of recommendation. A $100 deposit is required to reserve a spot. The application can be downloaded from http://hbca-nl.com/.
