Norwich City Council to hear opioid crisis presentation Jan. 16

Norwich — The City Council will hear a presentation at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, on the ongoing opioid and substance abuse crisis that will include the display of a memorial quilt crafted to remember overdose victims.
The presentation will include testimony on the drug crisis, and the City Council will issue a proclamation in support of people who have lost loved ones, those battling addiction and in support of the agencies working to combat the crisis.
The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at Norwich City Hall, 100 Broadway, and is open to the public.
