Westerly College Club grants scholarships to several locally

The Westerly College Club has granted its annual scholarships to area students. The club, which was founded in 1910 and has awarded scholarships for more than 70 years, recognizes students in Stonington, North Stonington, Westerly, Charlestown, Hopkinton, and Richmond who have completed at least one year at an accredited four-year college or university.
Pawcatuck students receiving the awards were Charlotte Robinson, Kailey Jones, Nick Robinson, Rochelle Wang, William Robinson, Morgan Parrilla and Kara Jones. Samantha White of North Stonington and Kyle Gillick of Stonington also received scholarships.
