East Lyme — State police say Interstate 95 is fully open from East Lyme to Rhode Island after a series of closures earlier in the day due to slick road conditions, minor crashes and a pair of tractor-trailer accidents.
Portions of I-95 north in East Lyme and Waterford were shut down for more than 45 minutes due to snowy conditions and a tractor-trailer accident near Exits 75 and 76 shortly before 1:30 p.m.
For more than two hours, I-95 north at Exit 91 was closed due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer unit. The accident was reported at 11 a.m.
