Seal bound for sea

Mystic Aquarium's Animal Rescue Program released a 4- to 5-month-old female gray sea named Eleuthera (pronounced el-OO-thur-uh) at Blue Shutters Beach in Charlestown, R.I., on Friday.

Eleuthera was rescued in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, by Marine Mammals of Maine and was transferred to the aquarium on April 13, where she received routine treatment for pneumonia and anemia. The seal weighed 66 pounds at release.
