Meetings on 'Twin Valley' application scheduled for next week in East Lyme
East Lyme — The meeting for the Inland Wetlands Agency to deliberate on the application for a 23-lot re-subdivision at Green Valley Lakes and Spring Rock Roads has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at Town Hall, according to the agenda.
During public hearings on the application to construct a road for the development, an extension of an existing neighborhood, residents said the plan would disturb wetlands and the Four Mile River, while representatives of the developer said the plan would have no direct impact on wetlands.
An application for the 23-lot re-subdivision on about 97 acres also is before the Planning Commission. The commission's public hearing on the proposal is scheduled to continue at a special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall, according to the agenda for that meeting.
