A group from Lyme Shores Tennis & Conditioning Center in East Lyme finished second in the over-65 age category when the team played in the New England sectional championships in Beverly, Mass., Sept. 8-9. The team advanced to the finals but lost to players from western Massachusetts.
A group from Lyme Shores Tennis & Conditioning Center in East Lyme finished second in the over-65 age category when the team played in the New England sectional championships in Beverly, Mass., Sept. 8-9. The team advanced to the finals but lost to players from western Massachusetts.
The team consisted of, from left, Karen Cashman of Mystic; Paula Passarello of Franklin; Rosemary Little of Clinton; Mary Ann Moran of Clinton; Ebet Cushman, Sheryl Ash and Meg Sawyer, all of East Lyme; Jane Pfeffer of Essex; Jo-Ann Staves of Old Lyme, and Karen Ulrich of Waterford.
