John Paul Hammond and Ryan Proulx have been named students of the month for December at Saint Bernard School.

Hammond, an eighth-grader from New London, is a new student at the school and has become involved in the drama department, praise choir and string ensemble.

Proulx, a sophomore from Ledyard, is a member of several honor societies and plays piano and baseball. He also recently received a volunteer service award.

Both students were recognized for their academic skills and for living their faith.
