    Surf's up at Ocean Beach

Lars Vestergaard, of Glastonbury, windsurfs at Ocean Beach Park on Monday, May 13, 2019, in New London. Vestergaard said he was planning on driving to Point Judith, R.I., but stopped closer to home when he noticed the conditions were right. "It's not too often the wind and waves are enough on the coast here," he said of the weather, "so I try to take advantage whenever it is." (Sarah Gordon/The Day)
