Officials: Rabid raccoon found in North Stonington
North Stonington — A raccoon found near Wyassup Road tested positive for rabies Thursday, Ledge Light Health District said.
In an alert about the raccoon, Ledge Light said the public should not feed or approach wild or stray animals.
