New London — Custodians at Connecticut College were aligning folding chairs Thursday on the college's Tempel Green in preparation for Sunday's commencement exercises.
The school rents 4,500 chairs for the event, and the custodians must take them down, fold them and have them on pallets to be picked up two hours after the ceremony concludes.
