Friends and Neighbors: New London author’s latest novel recognized at International Book Awards
New London author Ron Samul was recently recognized as a finalist in the 2019 International Book Awards’ general fiction category for his book “The Staff.” The book is based on small-community life, where everyone knows everything about each other, and it was also short-listed for the 2017 Del Sol Press First Novel Prize.
Samul works at Mitchell College and serves as a writing mentor at the Western Connecticut State University creative and professional writing MFA program. His works have been published in Liturgical Credo, Library Journal and other publications as well as presented at several regional writing conferences. For more information, visit ronsamul.org.
