Norwich hosts Spiritual Wellness Fair on Wednesday
Norwich — The Faith Initiative Steering Committee of the Southeastern Mental Health Authority will hold its 13th annual Spiritual Wellness Fair on Wednesday.
In a news release Monday, the organization said the event — from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church at 2 Union St. — provides an opportunity for people grappling with mental health and addiction disorders, and members of the public, to meet and learn about the spiritual aspects of recovery.
The fair, which organizers said is a "space free of judgment and (offering) compassion and caring hearts for all who attend," will showcase a range of spiritual traditions with speakers and representatives from a variety of organizations. The fair will also feature music, food and activities including a Zen tangle art demonstration.
