Sound View restaurant hosts community center fundraiser

Kokomo’s restaurant on Hartford Avenue in Old Lyme raised about $860 with its first charity event for the Shoreline Community Center in May, thanks to partrons, from left, Tim and Debbie Callanan and Rita and Keith Henson. The couples have been big supporters of Kokomo’s restaurant since it opened in Sound View May 10.

The restaurant will be holding an Octoberfest charity event Saturday, Oct. 5. For information and ticket sales, visit
