    Flowers of fall

Udani Galganuwa, of East Hampton, takes a photo of a flower as she visits the cutting garden at Harkness Memorial State Park with her mother, Sunanda, and her three-month old son Dhevin, not pictured, Monday, Sept. 23, 2019. The "Cutting Garden," so named because the Harkness family would use it for flower arrangements in the mansion, is the park's fall garden remaining in bloom much later than the park's summer gardens. Summer-like weather is forecast through the end of this week. (Sean D. Elliot/The Day)
