Indiana inbound

Escorted by the Thames Towboat Co. tug Paul A. Wronowski, the U.S. Navy Virginia-class attack submarine USS Indiana (SSN 789) on Wednesday transits the Thames River en route to the Naval Submarine Base in Groton.

The Indiana, the 16th vessel in the class, was assembled by Huntington Ingalls Industries in Newport News, Va., and was commissioned into service in September 2018.
