Alzheimer’s fundraiser Thursday in Mystic

Mystic — The inaugural “Seaport the Cause” event to raise funds for the Connecticut chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at Latitude 41 in Mystic.

There will be appetizers, specialty cocktails, live music, dinner, auction items and giveaways. Proceeds will allow the Connecticut Chapter to fund research, education and services for families affected by the disease.

Sponsors include KOTA, All Waste, Bouvier Insurance, Madeline’s Crew Cuts & Curls, Pasta Vita, Quality Propane, Regional Hospice, Slocum & Sons and Total Communications. More information is at http://alzseaport.givesmart.com.
