    Make a Difference: The Arc Eastern Connecticut

    WHO: Kyle, his mother Patty and sister Liz.

    AGENCY: The Arc Eastern Connecticut

    THEIR SITUATION: Patty is unable to work after recently suffering a stroke and a broken shoulder from a fall and having to care for Kyle and Liz, her two adult children with special needs. Minimal state assistance is their only source of income.

    WHAT TO GIVE: The family could use gift cards for food from Walmart and Stop & Shop.

    [naviga:li]Bedding and blankets for two twin beds and one full-size bed, dishes, silverware, pots, pans, potholders, crock pot, laundry baskets (one with wheels), personal hygiene products.[/naviga:li]

    [naviga:li]Kyle, size 10 winter boots, large or extra large sweat suits and T-shirts, sensory bracelets and necklaces.[/naviga:li]

    [naviga:li]Liz, warm clothing, women's size 16 in pants, large/extra large shirts, "top 40" CDs.[/naviga:li]

    [naviga:li]Patty, extra large sweats and pajamas, slippers, size 11, fuzzy socks.[/naviga:li]
