East Lyme — Can you resist gulls' pleading eyes?
Taylor Welsh was eating a muffin Thursday as she walked along the water at McCook Point Beach in Niantic, looking for sea glass at low tide, and she said it seemed like the birds were hoping for a bite.
"There's no way I'm sharing, though," she laughed.
