New London — Amid unseasonably warm temperatures Friday, workers were using a pair of articulated dump trucks, a pay loader and a skid steer loader to pile salt at State Pier in New London.
The Luxembourg-flagged bulk carrier Medi Zuoz has been unloading its cargo of salt at the pier all week.
