Piecing it together in Colchester
Colchester — Teams were racing to get every piece into place Saturday during the Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament at Cragin Memorial Library.
Mary Richardson, adult services librarian, said the tournament began with a puzzle that was donated during the Friends of Cragin Memorial Library book sale. That puzzle, placed on a table in the library media room, was very popular and more puzzles were donated.
Richardson heard of other libraries hosting tournaments and decided to host her library's first one last year, which had four teams. This year she raised the number of teams to six and had to inform people that called to participate that the spaces were filled.
Next year, she said she plans to increase the number of teams again.
