Police say man stabbed during large fight at Foxwoods

Mashantucket — Tribal Police Chief William D. Dittman said a man suffered multiple stab wounds early Saturday following a large fight in the Centrale Bar at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
The man, who Dittman did not identify, lost a lot of blood in the 1:20 a.m. incident in the Fox Tower casino and was taken to The William W. Backus Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition Saturday evening.
Tribal police arrested one person and are continuing to review video and conduct interviews, according to Ditmman.
Robert J. Haines, 40, of Chicopee, Mass., was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault.
