Public hearing to be held Tuesday on Groton City municipal projects
Groton — A public hearing will be held Tuesday on various proposed municipal projects in the City of Groton. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Municipal Building at 295 Meridian Street.
According to the agenda, the municipal project presentations are as follows: Tyler House windows; Tyler House bathrooms, office, and hallway; Municipal Building windows, doors and landing; police dive locker asbestos abatement; Fire Department Company One repaving; and police locker rooms.
At Tuesday’s hearing, department heads will present information on the projects and costs, said City of Groton Mayor Keith Hedrick.
A freeman’s meeting will be scheduled at a later date to vote on authorizing repurposing of bonding to pay for the projects, he said.
