Friends and Neighbors: ELHS students place in C-SPAN competition
East Lyme High School students Jack LeBeau, Kent Place and Tracy Lam recently won $250 and an Honorable Mention prize for their submission to the C-SPAN 2020 StudentCam competition. The trio submitted a documentary on national parks called “Preserving America’s Open Spaces.”
The documentary was among more than 2,500 submitted for the annual documentary competition, which invites middle and high school students to make videos on national issues important to them. For more information or to watch the videos, visit studentcam.org.
