Local health care workers, teachers donate to New London Food Bank

New London — Local health care and teacher unions joined on Wednesday to present a $5,800 donation to the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Bank.
The donation comes from contributions of four local AFT unions associated with Yale New Haven Health and from the New London Education Association. It’s both National Nurses Week and Teacher Appreciation Week.
