    Getting a new coat of caution yellow in New London

    New London — Amtrak building and bridges senior mechanic Melvin Lozada and foreman Rand Winslow were painting the first coat of yellow Wednesday on the Walbach Street railroad bridge.

    Lozada said the yellow paint is part of the Amtrak protocol to make the bridge more visible, bringing attention to its low clearance.
