New London — Nancy and Bob Fielding of the Quaker Hill section of Waterford were walking a path Thursday at Fort Trumbull State Park.
The Fieldings said the park is their favorite walking spot and they always start with a picnic lunch.
Friday was expected to be sunny for most of the day, with high temperatures in the high 60s along the shore and mid-70s inland.
